About Us

The Fecal Transfusion Foundation was founded on June 18, 2003 by Dr. Bradley Hennenfent. Dr. Hennenfent traveled to Australia to look into writing a book about the discoverers of Helicobacter pylori as the cause of peptic ulcer disease. In his research he chanced upon the practice of Fecal Transfusion.

Dr. Hennenfent knows many people who suffer from chronic diarrhea, constipation, or irritable bowl syndrome, as well as other disorders, who need to know about fecal transfusion. Indeed the list of diseases for which fecal transfusion may be important goes on and on, and includes: Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, Parkinson's disease, arthritis, autism, and many other diseases!

Fecal transfusion, because at first glance seems unappealing, has failed to get the publicity and attention it deserves. Indeed, doctors who practice this new therapy have been crucified by the press for no good reason. Fecal transfusion is that therapy that receives little favorable publicity and essentially no research funding.

Very few medical articles are published on fecal transfusion.

The Fecal Transfusion Foundation is a private foundation. It does not have tax-exempt standing and is mostly or entirely funded by Dr. Hennenfent. When you buy things via Amazon.com or from other associate programs it helps defray the costs incurred by maintaining the web site.
